Miranda Lambert is staying out all night—or at least all day.
The 39-year-old gave fans a peek into her and husband Brendan McLoughlin's relaxing summer outing.
In an August 3 post which she captioned, "Summer so far," alongside a number of summer themed emojis, Miranda shared a carousel of snaps of her and Brandon having some fun in the sun. In the photos, the couple can be seen enjoying time on a boat, hanging by an RV with their pups and spending time poolside. There's even a video of Brendan showing off his skills on a pair of water skis.
The time in the sun comes just a few weeks after Miranda she stirred up some controversy after stopping a show during her Las Vegas residency to call out concertgoers for taking a selfie.
"These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song," Miranda said in a July 16 TikTok, pointing to the women in the crowd. "It's pissing me off a little bit. We're here to hear some country music tonight. I'm singing some country damn music."
The incident sparked a fierce debate over whether it was appropriate for the concertgoers to take selfies or whether the "Bluebird" singer was in the wrong for calling them out, with LL COOL J, Kylie Minogue and even the ladies of The View to weigh in. As for one of the fans in question, Adela Calin told NBC News that she was "appalled" after being called out in the middle of the show, adding that her group had been "so excited" to see Miranda perform.
But as the Grammy winner made very clear in her summer vacation post, one person she's always down to take a selfie with is her husband of four years.
"Celebrating 4 years married today with my main squeeze @brendanjmcloughlin," Miranda wrote in January anniversary tribute to Brandon, which featured shirtless photos of the former police officer. "Happy anniversary babe! You are the best. (Y'all are welcome for the last two pics)."
And Brendan was sure to show his wife the love right back.
"4 years down and a lifetime to go," he captioned a selfie, adding alongside two heart emojis, "Happy anniversary @mirandalambert."
